We at Scholar's Institute of Technology & Management (SITM) are committed to providing the best for our students by way of Infrastructures, quality faculty and training and placement activities. We are always organizing workshops and guest Lectures conducted by Industry Experts to expose our students before the realistic picture of the existing and new trends evolved in the industry. Further, we are also sending our students to visit various Industries and companies etc in and around Guwahati for developing their practical knowledge and expertise. In fact, we are making all out efforts to make our students Industry ready and Employable.

Our Training & Placement department has been engaged in the task to train our students to meet industry requirements. In fact, the success of a professional Institute depends upon good training and placement of students failing which the very purpose of the Professional Institute is defeated.

Therefore, with a view to establishing a good rapport with the industries and companies, the Institute continues to keep its doors open to all. We have also established link with Pegasus Placement Services, Guwahati through our Training and Placement Department so that companies like CTS, Rawelcom, Prospus, CFE India, Airwise Sevices, B.P. Incorporate and TNS can come and conduct various on-line assessment tests and Interviews for Engineering and Management students. In fact the outside companies are very much impressed by the existing infrastructure, professional excellence, spirit and dedication of the faculty members of the Institute. Some of the placement activities are as follows:

  • TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has been conducting CWE, recruitment of Software trainees etc in the Institute on Saturdays and Sundays. These are online tests for recruitment.
  • GATE Examination is also conducted in the Institute.
  • Promotional Examination of United Bank of India.
  • CWE ,RRB Examination.
  • .AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi), P.G. Entrance Examination.
  • Recruitment of Trainee officers by Assam Gramin Bikash Bank.
  • Latest information is that our Institute has been selected for conducting B.E. off campus examination for 2014 by TCS. This is a prestigious examination for both SITM and TCS.

In short, we are continuously making efforts to motivate our students, to expose them before the working style of the corporates, to know the Latest technique to confront the challenges of the world of work. Our students will get placement by the Later part of 2014.In fact, this is their preparatory period to equip themselves with all necessary qualities so that they are Industry ready.
