The Emerging Technical Education Institute in Assam

Scholar's Institute of Technology & Management, Guwahati has been awarded Emerging Technical Education Institute in Assam by Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure (CMAI) in association with AICTE, MHRD and Gauhati University, Assam. The ceremony, CMAI National Assam Education Summit & Awards 2014 was held on 26^th April, 2014 at Phanidar Datta Auditorium, Gauhati University, Guwahati and the awards were given by Hon'ble Dr. Mridul Hazarika, Vice Chancellor, Gauhati University, Assam and Hon'ble Shri Rajiv Kumar Bora, Principal Secretary, Personnel & Administrative Reforms & Training and Information Technology Department, Assam.

This National Award was given to SITM considering the following criteria:

1. Being emerging technical education institute.
2. Having excellent infrastructural facility.
3. And above all for having highly experienced faculties imparting quality education.

The Institute has also been given the certificate of prestigious membership by the governing body and the management of CMAI Association of India, by Shri V.N. Dhoot, Chairman, CMAI and Shri N.K. Goyal, President, CMAI.
